FXStreet refreshes editorial design with AI-enhanced imagery to elevate user experience and mark 25th anniversary

FXStreet, a prominent media site providing financial analysis and education, has unveiled a refreshed look and feel to seamlessly align editorial articles with enhanced visuals. This update ensures content remains timely, visually engaging, and aligned with the fast-paced developments in the financial industry, enhancing the overall user experience.
The new visuals form part of a broader rebranding initiative to commemorate FXStreet’s 25th anniversary. Founded in 2000, the Catalan company has embraced a comprehensive redesign to modernize its identity. The process was carried out in two distinct phases:
-
Identifying evolving needs: The first phase focused on understanding the company’s current and future requirements to create a unique, recognizable visual identity extending beyond its web platform. This included detailed market research to pinpoint user preferences and expectations. “It was a long-standing need that we finally tackled head-on,” explained Núria Foj, Content Administrator Manager. “The visuals we had been using didn’t align with the modern, professional image we wanted to project. To address this, we organized multiple collaborative sessions involving team members from various departments. These brainstorming and feedback sessions were instrumental in shaping the initial drafts of our new visual identity, ensuring they truly represented the essence of FXStreet and resonated with our audience.”
-
Development with AI integration: The second phase involved several months of development. Utilizing artificial intelligence, the editorial and UX/UI teams collaboratively crafted a tailored prompt that reflects FXStreet’s new stylistic direction. This prompt, refined throughout Q4 2024, resulted in a library of over 400 customized images that align with article content more effectively. Each image is designed to complement article themes, enhancing readability and visual impact. “At FXStreet, our investment in AI has been highly focused on areas where we can provide added value to traders or enhance productivity. This has always been guided by the "human-in-the-loop" principle”, FXStreet’s co-CEO, Javier Hertfelder, commented.
By adopting this new graphic identity, FXStreet enhances its brand recognition across all platforms, including its website, social media channels, and Google properties. This initiative ensures immediate and consistent brand recall, strengthening its presence in the financial services space.
How does this benefit traders?
- Improved visual appeal: Articles are now paired with high-quality, AI-driven visuals tailored to their content, providing a more engaging reading experience.
- Faster content recognition: The distinctive new imagery makes FXStreet’s content immediately recognizable across platforms.
- Streamlined information delivery: The cohesive design helps users quickly identify and absorb relevant market insights.
“Regarding the trader's experience, we’ve made significant advancements. Alongside the editorial design with AI-enhanced imagery, the automated translations with human oversight, where we’ve drastically reduced the time to market for translated content. Previously, it took around 30 minutes to translate a piece. Now, with AI, translations are completed in seconds. Secondly, the Fed speech actionability, where leveraging AI and our historical data, we can generate a score for a Fed member’s speech within minutes. This score is easy for traders to interpret and provides actionable insights. These initiatives exemplify how AI is not only improving the trader’s experience on our platform but also empowering them with faster, actionable, and highly relevant insights”, Hertfelder concluded.
